Pop-up DIY Puppets!

The Noyes Cultural Arts Center will feature a vintage Marionette Theatre in the downstairs lobby from Friday, January 6 through Tuesday, January 31. The public is invited to create their own puppet show during building hours. The puppet theatre was donated by the WonderWorks Children’s Museum of Oak Park and features curtains, lights and changeable backdrops. The pop-up Puppet Theatre is inspired by the Chicago International Puppet Theatre Festival taking place at numerous venues throughout Chicago, and sets the stage for registration for the Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre Puppet Theatre Camp in summer 2017.
