YSTEP (Youth & Senior Theatre Ensemble Project)

YSTEP FJCC 2010 3 web.jpgYouth & Senior Theatre Ensemble Project (YSTEP) is an intergenerational theatre-based program, collaborating with Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center and the Levy Senior Cente,r and presented by Counterpart Stageworks Inc. It seeks to bridge the gap between senior citizens and younger people within the community by sharing life stories and creating an original one-act play based in part on these stories. Each spring and fall, YSTEP performs at Fleetwood-Jourdain Center and at the Levy Senior Center.

West African Rhythms Drum Circle

Join Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre and West African Drummer Tony Toneji Garrett every other Sunday afternoon for the experience of a lifetime as you feel the power of DRUMMING! This ongoing program is free. Donations for Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre programming are accepted.
