National Food Safety Month

Posted by Wally Bobkiewicz on Sep 1, 2009 at 6:06 PM in Health

September 1st and all of the months we celebrate are coming forward......

Word from the Environmental Health Division of the Health and Human Services Department reminds us that September is also National Food Safety Month.  The Department will have a food safety video on the local cable channel and will be giving away a free thermometer with instructions to any resident that answers the Food Safety Question of the Week. The first week's question is on the dry erase easel outside of the Division's office on the lower level of the Civic Center.

The Department has 150 thermometers, and intends to give them all away. The question will change every Monday during September.
