Evanston Christmas Tree

Posted by Wally Bobkiewicz on Dec 15, 2009 at 7:57 PM in Forestry and Recreation

The Evanston Roundtable website has an excellent video documenting the work of the City's Forestry Division as they cut down and moved the City's Christmas tree now on display in Fountain Square.  The tree was donated by a local resident.

This year's tree is the best one I have seen in quite a number of years.
The decorating is much better done than in most prior years.
There is still improvement to be made, but we're finally headed in the right direction.
It's a beautifully shaped tree also. Thanks to the donor & the decorators.
