City Council Approves RFI for Wind Turbine Farm

The City Council unanimously authorized issuing a Request for Information for interested parties to provide information to the City on a proposed wind turbine farm in Lake Michigan.  The next steps will be to see what information is submitted during the late Spring/early Summer to the City on feasibility of further work on this proposal.  Clip above is from ABC 7 WLS-TV tonight.

i am a concerned citizen and a member of the audubon society. i want to make certain that the heavily used migratory flyway over lake michigan is considered when the plans for a wind farm are discussed.
