The City of Evanston seeks residents and students with all levels of computer skills to help move the city website to a new, improved Content Management System on Saturday, June 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Code-A-Thon will take place at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., and all participants should bring their laptops with Wi-Fi to the event.

The day-long event will offer a wide range of project options including designing graphic and banner ads, creating calendar events and coding interactive modules. Those with their own project ideas will have the opportunity to pitch and potentially implement new City of Evanston website features.

Lunch and a goodie bag will be provided to all participants. For more information, or to register, please visit the Code-A-Thon site here.. Registration for Code-A-Thon closes Wednesday, May 26.
