Evanston Commercial on NU/Vanderbilt Football Broadcast
The NU Athletic Department has made available to the City a 30 second commercial slot in the broadcast of the NU/Vanderbilt football game Saturday night beginning at 6:30 PM. Sustainability Coordinator Heads Back Home
Carolyn Collopy, the City's Sustainability Coordinator, is leaving the City Friday after three years in the position. Carolyn and her family are moving to the Minneapolis area to be closer to her extended family and will be taking a similar position with Hennepin County, Minnesota. Carolyn was the first position to hold the position of Sustainability Coordinator in Evanston. Water and Sewer Funding Adjustments
The City Council's Administration and Public Works Committee will begin discussion of changes to water and sewer funding models at its meeting Monday night. This comes after several discussions with the Council over the past few months on next steps on how to raise additional revenue for these funds. City Credit Card Transactions Now Available for Public Review
Beginning on the August 9 City Council agenda and every month hereafter, the City will be disclosing each transaction paid for by a City credit card. These transactions amount to over $100,000 each month and until now have not be easily available for the public's review.
