"I wish to thank the Mayor, the City Manager, Sharon Johnson, and other City officials for helping to get me and other city residents construction work on City projects. I think that Local Hire is a great opportunity for Evanston residents to secure good paying construction jobs and on-the-job training and skills development that might not otherwise be available to them." - Charles Sheridan, program participant

Union workers are skilled trade workers with licenses and a current union membership.
Non-union workers are skilled trade workers that do not have licenses or union memberships.
