Engage Evanston - Phase 2 (August 22 - September 22, 2011)

takesurvey.pngThe City asked residents to continue to be engaged in the budget process by taking an online survey and submitting their comments. Resident took the budget survey on line at www.cityofevanston.org/engage or via a paper copy that was made available at our libraries, community centers or at our police station. Results of the survey are listed above.

Engage Evanston - Phase 1 (May 1-7, 2011)

The city focused its efforts May 1-7 on getting ideas from residents about the Fiscal Year 2012 budget. During this week, the city asked residents to submit ideas on items they should consider while developing their budget priorities. Although idea submission is now closed, you can still view the ideas submitted by the community.

Submissions were used to identify 40 service change ideas.  These service change ideas are currently being researched by City staff and a summary of findings will be submitted and presented to the City Council and public for discussion on August 8, 2011.
