How to View Planned Development Proposals:

  • Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington, 3rd Floor Reference Desk (Library hours)
  • Planning Division (Room 3900) or Zoning Division (Room 3700) of the Evanston Civic Center, 2100 Ridge, during business hours (8:30am to 5pm).

How to Submit Comments to the Plan Commission:

Comments can be made at the public hearing, per the Procedures for Public Hearings in the Plan Commission Rules. If you are not able to attend the hearing and wish to submit comments in writing:

  • Comments should be addressed to the Plan Commission Chair and Members.
  • Emails may be sent to the General Planner at tnorfleet@cityofevanston.org. Comments may be typed in the body of an email or attached as a Word document or PDF.
  • Handwritten letters and signed hardcopy letters may be faxed to (847) 448-8120 or sent to the following address:
    • Plan Commission c/o General Planner
    • City of Evanston
    • 2100 Ridge Ave, Room 3900
    • Evanston, IL 60201
  • Comments should be received by 5pm on the day of the Plan Commission meeting.
  • QUESTIONS may be directed to the General Planner, at (847) 866-2928, Ext. 2277.
