Becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic 
Applicant Requirements
- Be between 21 and 35 years of age, if over 35 years of age, must currently be a firefighter/paramedic in the State of Illinois
- Be a citizen of the United States
- Be a high school graduate
- Be a licensed driver
- Have normal color vision
- Have the ability to complete and pass firefighter/paramedic education and certifications
