Home Day Care Providers
The City provides permits to qualifying Home Day Care Providers at no charge. In order to receive a City permit, Home Day Care Providers must:
- complete general information, medical and criminal background forms
- pass property inspections conducted by the Fire Department & Property Standards Division
- clear the Police Department’s investigation of the number of calls, if any, made to that address
Once the provider meets the City’s requirements, a permit is issued for two years, after which the provider must repeat the entire process.
