Curb Ramp Program
Brian Barnes, inclusion specialist for the City, shows off a relatively new curb ramp at the corner of Ridge and Leonard Avenues. The City of Evanston Disabled Services Division seeks suggestions for locations for the City's curb ramp program.
Regular curbs will be replaced with concrete ramps to help those with physical impairments. The new ramps will also be molded out of textured, red concrete to enable individuals with vision impairments to note that a street is near.
