The American Society of Landscape Architects chose the Center for a site visit during its convention in Chicago. Twenty attendees toured the Center on Friday, Sept. 18. In this photo, City of Evanston Parks Division employee John Jaminski gives a tour of the garden. John keeps the garden lovely year round. His efforts are supported by a generous anonymous donation for plant materials.
Seasonl flu shots will be offered at the Levy Center!
Available to anyone regardless of residency, the shots are given on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost is $25 or free with Medicare Part B (please bring your Medicare card with you). These seasonal shots, which do not cover the H1N1 (swine) flu, will be given 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, and 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6. Appointments are not necessary.
