Evanston Police Department
CHAPLAIN/CLERGY TEAM
Law Enforcement Chaplains offer comfort, prayer, guidance, wisdom, common sense and expertise to members of the Evanston Police Department, their families, and the community at large.

The Evanston Police Department Chaplain/Clergy Team has two tiers. The first tier is made up of volunteer clergy members who have expressed interest in working with the police department. They get introduced to the police community by training with experienced chaplains and attending the Citizens Police academy. From this group the Chief of Police appoints several clergy team members as police chaplains. He chooses those individuals whom have shown and are prepared to make stronger commitment to the program.
If you are a member of the clergy here in Evanston and are interested in joining the Evanston Police Department Clergy Team please call Chaplain Dov Hillel Klein at 847-869-8060 or the Evanston Police Department at 847-866-5019
