Arts & Humanities Month logoCelebrate Arts & Humanities Month by being part of a discussion about South Evanston’s burgeoning arts scene. The Community Relations Committee of the Evanston Arts Council and Piccolo Theatre are hosting "Performing Arts Explosion in South Evanston," the next Evanston Cultural Connections Lunch and Program. It will be held from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4 at Piccolo Theatre, 600 Main St., Evanston, in the Arts Depot at the Metra Station.

Presenters are John Szostek, founder and artistict director of Piccolo Theatre and Rick Ferguson, founder and director of The Musical Offering. Piccolo specializes in the commedia dell’arte and British Panto styles of theater; The Musical Offering is a neighborhood music school for children, individuals and families. Both of these exceptional South Evanston organizations have been educating and entertaining our community – and beyond – for more than a decade.
