From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00, join the Ladd Arboretum committee to help beautify the Arboretum and remove all things invasive! In honor of Arbor Day. we also will be planting six new blue spruce saplings in the Arboretum!

From 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., join the Ecology Staff and ETHS Senior Study student Jack Hanson for some games, crafts and information stations. Jack’s senior project was to find ways to reduce his own carbon footprint, as well as help the citizens of the community to reduce their own carbon footprints. At the event, he will share some simple techniques that residents can take home to reduce their own carbon emissions. Children can participate in fun solar, recycled and nature- themed games and crafts, as well as try to “stump the arborist” and win a prize!
