Arts & Humanities Month
Residents are encouraged to establish, deepen, and expand their relationships with the arts and humanities.
Again this year, Evanston joins the Illinois Arts Council in recognizing October as Arts & Humanities Month, a statewide celebration encouraging all residents to establish, deepen, and expand our relationships with the arts and humanities.
Arts & Humanities Month
Three exhibits will be presented during October at the Noyes Gallery. An Artists' Open House will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2 at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St., Evanston. Admission is free. For details, click here>>>.
Conversation in the Park: Poetry and Puppets will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2 in Raymond Park, located at Chicago Avenue at Grove St., Evanston. For details, click here>>>.
Cultural Connections Lunch and Program will be held from noon until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4 at Piccolo Theatre, 600 Main St., Evanston. You're invited to be part of a discussion about South Evanston’s burgeoning arts scene. Space is limited; click here>>> for more information.
Chicago Humanities Festival-Evanston Day includes seven events and will take place from noon until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 16 on Northwestern University's Evanston campus.
A Library Sidewalk Poetry Dedication will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19 at the main Evanston Public Library. Click here>>> for more information.
