EEB Bylaws

PURPOSE: To investigate environmental issues and develop policy recommendations, for submission to City Council, on matters affecting the environmental health and the sustainability of Evanston and City operations, including air, water, waste, transportation, energy efficiency, and public education. (36-0-71) (23-0-93).

# OF MEMBERS: Thirteen (13) members appointed by the Mayor.

QUALIFICATIONS: Persons shall be appointed with training and/or experience in areas such as environmental law, education, pollution control, engineering, science and public health.

TERM: Four (4) year terms. Members may serve no more than two (2) terms.

MEETING DATE: 2nd Thursday of each month, 7:00 p.m.
PLACE: Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., Room 2200
