LADD ARBORETUM COMMITTEE

Agendas & Minutes

PURPOSE: To advise and consult with City Council and the Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry on development, maintenance and programs of the Arboretum, the Ecology Center and the Lighthouse Nature Center; to raise funds and seek gifts for development and maintenance; to approve disbursement of monies raised by Committee; to publicize the Arboretum, and its attractions and to promote its use. The Committee is also the governing board of the Evanston Environmental Association (47-0-73; 9-0-83).

# OF MEMBERS: Seven (7) appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council.

QUALIFICATIONS: Preference in appointment of members shall be given to those citizens who have demonstrated interest in environmental education, ecology and energy conservation.

TERM: Three (3) year terms or until their successors are appointed and qualified.

MEETING DATE: 3rd Monday of every other month at 7:00 P.M. (January, March, May, July, September, November)
PLACE: Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Boulevard
