PURPOSE: To supervise and manage services of library with powers granted under state statutes. (Code: Title 7-14).

# OF MEMBERS: Nine (9) appointed.

QUALIFICATIONS: The Mayor shall, with the approval of the City Council, appoint Library Trustees chosen from City residents with reference to their fitness for such office (per ILCS 5/4-1).

TERM: Three (3) years

MEETING DATE: 3rd Wednesday of each month, 6:30 p.m.
PLACE: Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Avenue
