Mayor's Compensation Committee

PURPOSE:  The City Code, section 1-5-9, provides that the Aldermanic compensation structure shall be reviewed by a nonaldermanic committee every 4 years.  Paralle requirement for Mayoral compensation exist in section 1-6-10 and the Clerk in section 1-7-5 of the Code.  The Compensation Committee also evaluates the salaries of the Township Supervisor, Assessor and City Clerk.  The committe is required to submit a report and recommendation to the City Council by July 23, 2012.
