SIGN REVIEW AND APPEALS BOARD
PURPOSE: Hear appeals concerning the sign ordinance; grant variations from the Ordinance; hear requests for establishment of Unified Business Centers; hear proposals for special sign districts, make recommendations for approval, modification, or denial of such requests. (10-O-87).
COMPOSITION: Two persons engaged in graphic arts; one member must be engaged in the field of advertising; two members must be engaged in business in Evanston. One member of the Board shall be designated
as Chair by the Mayor with consent of the City Council.
MEMBERS: 5
TERM: Three years
MEETING DATE: 2nd Thursday of every month, 7:30 p.m.
PLACE: Civic Center
