To renew a valid certificate, here are the steps to follow:

  1. Visit the IL Dept of Public Health (IDPH) site to understand your options and responsibilities.
  2. Create an account on the 360training.com site and start the course. There is no exam requirement.
  3. Email Ellyn Golden at egolden@cityofevanston.org that you are taking the 15-hour online course to meet the continuing education requirement for renewal. You are not required to take the exam; you must, however, finish the 15-hour course before your current certificate expires.
