Women Out Walking
Women Out Walking (W.O.W.) is a 12 week walking program designed to encourage women in Evanston to lead healthier lifestyles and become more physically active. Using walking as the foundation, individuals and teams of women are asked to track their steps and seek to improve their activity level on a weekly basis.
Additionally, participants are invited to attend workshops that provide tips and education in the areas of nutrition and overall women’s health issues. Last, but certainly not least, walkers are invited to explore a variety of physical activity alternatives, including yoga, bootcamp, dance, and other exciting exercise opportunities.

WOW has a series of monthly events quickly approaching; our first event will be April 20th at the Civic Center from 8:00am-12:00pm. Get ready to jumpstart your summer with us and your group members as we have a series of fun activities, guest speaker(s), and workshop(s) that will be offered.
