Beach Volleyball and Beach Tennis Tournament - June 6
Come join the 2010 Beach Sports Challenge hosted by the City of Evanston! Bring your beach volleyball and tennis skills to Clark Street Beach on Sunday, June 6 from 9am-3pm; you might medal!
If you are looking for some fun, friendly competition and an opportunity to enjoy a day at the beach with your family, then this is a great event for you. There will be professional players on hand to help you with your skills. Free games will be held throughout the day for both beach tennis and volleyball players. All matches will be for doubles teams and all tournaments will be in round-robin format, with a single elimination playoff to determine the winners. Both players on each winning team will receive medals. Lifeguards will not be on duty for the season yet, so no one will be allowed to enter the water.
