City Holds First Ever Code-A-Thon on Saturday, June 5
The City of Evanston seeks students and residents with all levels of computer skills to help move the City website’s to a new, improved Content Management System on Saturday, June 5 from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. The Code-A-Thon will take place at the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, 2100 Ridge Ave., and all participants should bring their laptops with Wi-Fi to the event.
The day-long event will offer a wide range of project options including designing graphic and banner ads, creating calendar events, and coding interactive modules. Those with their own project ideas will have the opportunity to pitch and potentially implement new City of Evanston website features.
