IL Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics
JOIN US ON SUNDAY, JUNE 6, 2010 as we support our Special Olympic Athletes as we proudly carry the torch through EVANSTON!!
The Evanston Police Department invites you and your families to run or
ride your bikes to raise money for the Illinois Special Olympics!!
The 2 mile run will begin at the Dominick’s at 2748 Green Bay Road at 10:00A when Wilmette police officers will pass the torch to Evanston police officers. We will run it through downtown Evanston and will end at the Evanston Police Department with a celebration lunch!
The entry fee is a minimum $25.00 donation to the Illinois special Olympics. For your donation, you will receive a 2010 Torch Run t-shirt or hat! T-shirts, hats and pins will be available for purchase to support our athletes!!
