CTA Construction at Howard & McCormick Starts Aug. 15
CTA will be performing track maintenance to ensure that trains continue to operate safely along the Yellow Line. Work will be performed that may affect your community. While progress sometimes comes with inconveniences, we will do our best to keep them to a minimum.

Work Hours: 11:30pm nightly to 4:00am next day
Work Activity: Track maintenance on CTA’s Yellow Line
Location: Along the Yellow Line (Howard Street to McCormick Boulevard)
Impact
to Residents: • Heavy machinery will be used, which may cause some noise while
work is being performed.
• To maintain normal rail service, work will be performed at night.
