The Evanston Police Department offers a free 12-week program to understand the work of our police department and the life of a patrol
officer through its Citizen Police Academy. Learn the shoot-don't-shoot protocols, ride shotgun on a patrol shift, and tour the police headquarters, including our E911 call center.
