City Offers Secure Bike Parking for Car Free Day & Every Day
The City of Evanston reminds residents that free, secure bike parking is available at the parking garage located at the corner of Davis St.
and Benson Ave. for bicyclists who ride their bike to the downtown commuter stations or who simply want to enjoy downtown shops and restaurants. The facility, located by taking the elevator to the second floor (bikes allowed of course), has able secure bike racks and is available year round.
Today for Car Free Day, residents can have their bikes valet parked for free by a volunteer from the Active Transportation Alliance at the parking garage located at the corner of Davis St, and Benson Ave.
Also, stop by 909 Davis St. (located next to the train tracks) and pick up some great free items being offered by several Car Free Day sponsors and enter to win a free bike from Turin Bicycle.
