New Spanish Resources at the Evanston Public Library
You might have noticed some changes at EPL. We've moved the Spanish section to a central location on the second floor, and we've developed two new program series in Spanish:
Canciones y Cuentos con Sr. Rick and Sra Julieta, a family song and story program will take place the second Wednesday of every month in the Barbara Friedberg Storytelling Room in the Main Library. The first program will be on Wednesday, November 10 at 7 p.m.
A Drop-In Basic Computer Class in Spanish will be offered in the third floor Computer Lab every Friday at 4 p.m. The first drop-in session will be on Friday, October 22 at 4 p.m.
We are gaining access to a variety of Spanish resources, too! From inside the library, or by using your library card at home you can read full text articles in Spanish from La Raza through ProQuest Newsstand.
Our BIGGEST piece of news is that we have added a Spanish section to our library website! To explore it a bit, follow the Español link in the QuickLinks section located on the right side of the epl.org homepage.
