New Traffic Pattern for Orrington/Sherman/Davis Continues

The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) will be continuing its work on the Orrington leg of the system.Road Work.jpg Traffic patterns will be altered at the traffic island located at the interesections of Orrington Ave., Sherman Ave. and Davis St. starting Monday, October 25, 2010.

There will be no detours, however some traffic lanes will be closed:

  • Orrington Ave - between Grove St. and Davis St., northbound traffic will be reduced to one lane;
  • Davis St - between Chicago Ave. and Sherman Ave., westbound traffic will be reduced to one lane; and
  • Sherman Ave. - between Davis St. and Grove St., one southbound lane will be closed occasionally for material and equipment deliveries.
