Reminder: No Political Yard Signs on Public Property
The City of Evanston reminds residents, candidates, campaign staff and volunteers that City ordinance prohibits the placement of political yard signs in right of ways and on public property (this includes street corners and the area between the sidewalk and the street).
The City's Streets and Sanitation Division will remove these signs. As a courtesy, the signs will be placed behind the Morton Civic Center at 2100 Ridge Ave. for a few days prioir to being disposed should someone wish to come and reclaim them.
