Last NU Home Football Game: Sat. Nov. 13
Northwestern University's last of five Evanston home football games is Saturday, when the Wildcats face the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. Kickoff is at 11:00 am at Ryan Field. University athletics staff expect a sold-out stadium, with 47,000 fans at Central and Ashland. Saturday will also be Senior Day to honor the University's graduating seniors.
As with every game played at Ryan Field, the traffic and crowds will be monitored and controlled by our three local police departments -- Northwestern University Police Department, Evanston Police Department, and the Wilmette Police Department. The police departments maintain continual communication throughout game day to manage contingencies, operating out of a police command outpost at the stadium.
Please plan extra time to navigate the neighborhood on Saturday. Report any instances of bad fan behavior to the Evanston Police Department at 847-866-5000 so that our police officers have a chance to respond in a timely manner.
