Northwestern Basketball Announces "Evanston Day" on November 30 which coincides with the Wildcat Food Drive to support Family Focus.
After a fun and successful Evanston Day at Wildcat Football in September, Northwestern University's Athletic Department and the City of Evanston have announced plans for Evanston Day at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
All Evanston residents are invited to watch the Wildcat men's basketball team take on Georgia Tech in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge on Tuesday, November 30. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
Evanston residents can purchase discounted tickets ($17) to the game online at NUsports.com with the promotion code NUEVD (discounted tickets must be purchased in advance).
The Northwestern Student-Athlete Advisory Committee will also be collecting non-perishable food items at the game as part of their annual food drive to benefit Evanston's Family Focus. All fans that donate a non-perishable food item at the game will be entered to win free s domestic roundtrip airfare ticket compliments of American Airlines.
