Modified Recycling Schedule due to New Year’s Holiday
There will be no City recycling collections for residential condominiums on Friday, December 31, 2010, due to the City holiday being taken that day in observance of New Years’ Day, which falls on a Saturday. Condominium garbage collections by Lake Shore Waste Services will not be affected by the City holiday.
Normal residential garbage and recycling collections will not be affected. Condominium recycling services, which would occur on Friday, will take place on Wednesday and Thursday before the holiday. Condominium buildings located north of Church Street shall be collected on Wednesday (12/29) before the holiday. Condominium buildings located south of Church Street shall be collected on Thursday (12/30) before the holiday.
Following the New Year’s holiday, City collection of condominium recycling will return to the normal Friday collection day.
