Georgia Parker is the founder and owner of Ashley Lauren Natural Products, located in downtown Evanston. This business is a prestige beauty brand that manufactures and distributes natural hair and skin products for multi-cultural clientele. The retail store moved to 1106 Davis in 2001 and then moved to 1102 Davis in 2004.
Recently, Georgia was contacted by NBC who expressed interest in doing a story about her business for an upcoming feature of Someone You Should Know. Georgia is a chemist, aesthetician, trichologist and beauty educator how founded her business in January 1998. She expressed her appreciation and enthusiasm about the city’s involvement in assisting her to help her business grow. The City of Evanston's Economic Division is working with Georgia to find space in Evanston’s industrial areas for her to operate a small manufacturing business where her products will be manufactured. This expansion will allow the business to grow while producing jobs here in the Evanston community.
