Gallery 4502 Call for Artists: "Driven to Abstraction: cubes, drips & fields of color"

gallery promo.jpgCurrently the Evanston Art Center in conjunctions with the City of Evanston's Gallery 4502 is looking for submissions of abstract and non-objective artworks for the exhibition “Driven to Abstraction: cubes, drips & fields of color,” on view from May 13 through August 19, 2011 at Gallery 4502 located in the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center.

Artists 16 years and older who live or work in Evanston are eligible to enter. All mediums will be considered. 2-D pieces must be framed and ready to hang, wire preferred and not to exceed 40” x 30.” Sculptural pieces must not weigh more than 40 lbs. All work is for sale and no commission will be taken. Artworks will be insured while on exhibit.
