March 26 Community Rally Kicks off Evanston150

EV150.jpgThe Evanston150 Steering Committee will host a Community Rally on Saturday, March 26 from Noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Levy Senior Center, at 300 Dodge Ave. The Community Rally will feature food, drink, entertainment, and an introduction to this exciting project.

There will be performance groups that include cast members from Brillianteen's The Wiz, The Evanston North Shore Community Choir, an Evanston Township High School Jazz Combo and Tierra y Luz De Mexico Dancers. The Community Rally is being hosted by former ABC-7 television host and media personality Bill Campbell.

Evanston residents of all ages are invited to drop in any time between Noon and 2:00 p.m. to learn about Evanston150 - an exciting grassroots project that gathers community members ideas to make Evanston a better place to live, work, play and study. This family-friendly event offers a children's activity table, balloons and a free taste of some of Evanston's most popular restaurants including Andy's Frozen Custard, Whole Foods, Wild Dogs Gyros and Wings Over Evanston.
