Apply Now for Seasonal Lifeguard Position
The City of Evanston Recreation Division is still accepting applications for lifeguards for the 2011 season. Lifeguards must be certified by the American Red Cross or Ellis.
Applicants must apply in person from noon to 5:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26 through Sunday, May 30, at the Dempster Street Beach Office, 1251 Lake Shore Blvd., Evanston. Training begins on Tuesday, May 31. Evanston's five public swimming beaches are scheduled to open for the season on Saturday, June 11. For more information, please call 847-866-4167.
