LINK Goes Farther at Downtown Evanston Farmers' Market
Not only can Illinois LINK card holders use them at the Saturday downtown Evanston Farmers Market, they can get a bonus, up to $10 extra LINK dollars per person per day, to spend on delicious, healthful fresh produce. The matching funds are being provided by NorthShore University HealthSystem through a grant to Friends of Evanston Farmer’s Markets. The downtown farmers market is open from 7:30 am through 1 pm every Saturday through the first weekend in November. Free parking is available in the Maple Ave. Garage, immediately adjacent to the market site. The LINK tent is located on the south side of the market, next to the garage.
