Volunteer Opportunities for July: Recycling Fair and CommUNITY Picnic
The Volunteer Evanston Program strives to promote and support community services and programs through volunteerism community-wide. The mission of the Volunteer Evanston Program is to connect volunteers to opportunities in Evanston and assist local organizations that serve the Evanston community. This program is part of a collaborative effort with the City of Evanston, Northwestern University, Evanston Community Foundation, School District 202 and School District 65.
Featured volunteer opportunities for July included volunteers for the Evanston Recycling Fair on Saturday, July 23rd at the Morton Civic Center. Volunteers are needed to assist residents with unloading electronics and paper items for recycling and for traffic control.
