Free Friday Night Tennis Lessons in August
Evanston residents are invited to come learn to play tennis for free on Friday nights throughout August. This is the sixth year that the Evanston Recreation Division has offered this popular, free program for Evanston residents age 5 and older. Lessons will be held at James Park, on Oakton Street west of Dodge Avenue.
One-hour classes will take place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on August 12, 19 and 26. Registration is limited to one hour per evening, but residents are welcome to register for one, two or all three Friday nights. Tennis racquets and balls are provided during class for those in need of equipment. Class space is limited. To register, please call Chandler-Newberger Community Center at 847/448-8252.
