Evanston Police Seek Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspects

EPD Shield 6 clr RBG.jpgEvanston Police are investigating an apparent robbery that took place in the early morning of Friday, September 2nd at approximately 5:20 a.m. Police responded to a subject found on the ground bleeding near the Marathon Gas Station located at 555 Howard St. The victim, who is hearing impaired, was walking on the sidewalk when two subjects approached and one subject struck the victim in the head. The victim had items removed from his pants pockets and was transported to St. Francis Hospital for treatment where he remains.

The offenders are described as follows:

#1 Male/Black, tall & thin, in his 20’s, wearing a red shirt and a navy blue ball cap

#2 Male/Black, heavy set, in his 20’s, wearing a white t-shirt.

The Evanston Police Department is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying the subjects depicted in the bellow videos:
