City Street Cleaners to Make One Final Sweep
Although street sweeping officially ends on November 30, the Public Works Department is requesting that residents follow the even/odd Snow Emergency parking restrictions to facilitate one final leaf clearing.
Starting on December 5, city crews will make one final sweep through the city from south (Howard Street) to north (Isabella Street). Raking leaves into the street is prohibited and we are asking that residents report any leaf piles that have been dumped in their area by calling 3-1-1 or online at www.cityofevanston.org/311 by Friday, December 2.
The city will be unable to respond to any requests for leaf removal after December 9 because all remaining crews will be converted to snow operations. Please contact Streets and Sanitation via 3-1-1 if you have any questions.
