GFS Marketplace to Open New Evanston Store; Ground Breaking Set for Nov. 21
GFS Marketplace announced the company is building a new store in Evanston and will be holding a ground breaking ceremony on Monday, November 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the site of the new location, 2424 Oakton Street. Alderman Ann Rainey (8th Ward) and other members of Evanston’s City Council, senior staff and city management will join representatives from the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and GFS Marketplace executives to officially break ground and begin construction on the project.
To mark the occasion and in the “Spirit of Thanksgiving” GFS Marketplace will be donating a $500 gift card to the Community Area Rescue Effort.
