Help Evanston Families in Need

gift giveaway2.JPGPlease help make the holiday season joyful for as many needy Evanston families as possible! Donations to the annual Holiday Toy and Food Drive sponsored by Mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl and local community organizations will be accepted from Monday, November 21 through Monday, December 19. There are now additional locations to drop off new, unwrapped toys and/or non-perishable food items.

You may drop off your donation at any of these eight convenient collection sites:

  • Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center, Room 1100 (Recreation office), Mon.-Fri., 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • The main Evanston Public Library, 1703 Orrington Avenue, Mon.-Thurs., 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.; Fri. & Sat., 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sun., Noon to 6:00 p.m.
  • Chandler-Newberger Center, 1028 Central St., Mon.-Fri., 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sat., 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Evanston Ecology Center, 2024 McCormick Blvd., Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sat., 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Fleetwood-Jourdain Center, 1655 Foster St., Mon.-Fri., 9:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sat., 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Levy Senior Center, 300 Dodge Ave., Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sat. and Sun., 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Noyes Cultural Arts Center, 927 Noyes St., Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Robert Crown Center, 1701 Main St., Mon., 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Tues.-Thurs., 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m; Fri., 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p,m.; Sat., 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Sun., Noon to 4:00 p.m.
  • New Location! North branch library, 2026 Central St., Mon., 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Tues. and Wed., 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; and Sat., 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
