Ward Meetings Set for November
There are four separate City of Evanston ward meetings set for the month of November. They include the Second, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Wards. The meeting are as follows:
2nd Ward Meeting - Rescheduled
The Second Ward Meeting set for Thursday, November 10 at 7 p.m. will be rescheduled to December. Details to follow.
5th Ward Meeting Nov. 17
Alderman Delores Holmes will be holding a Fifth Ward meeting at 7 p.m. at the Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center located at 1655 Foster Street.
Joint 6th & 7th Ward Meeting Nov. 17
There will be a joint Sixth and Seventh Ward Meeting on Thursday, November 17 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM in the Main Meeting Room at Three Crowns Park located at 2323 McDaniel Ave. The meeting will be hosted by Aldermen Mark Tendam (6th Ward) and Jane Grover (7th Ward).
There will be discussions about State of Illinois issues with Rep. Daniel Biss who now represents all of the 6th Ward and a large portion of the 7th Ward in northwest Evanston. There will also be a discussion of the city’s 2012 budget with City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz including time for questions and answers.
8th Ward Meeting Nov. 22
Alderman Ann Rainey will be holding an Eighth Ward Meeting on Tuesday, November 22nd. Location and time to be determined.
