"Merry Kwanzaa" to Play Dec. 26
Awarding-winning playwright Gloria Bond Clunie’s play about four generations learning the meaning of love and unity and the power of faith will be performed at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 26 at Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center, 1655 Foster St., Evanston. Admission is free.
The play will be co-directed by Joyce Childress and Darlene Eady-Morris. It features a multi-generational and multi-racial cast of Evanston residents, including former Evanston Mayor Lorraine H.
